Annapurna Panorama trek professionally guided 12-day expedition is suitable for all travellers that encompass Nepal’s most spectacular sights. The Nepal Annapurna Panorama Trek is your ticket to an adventure that will live with and within you for decades.

You need not be a “world class athlete or champion mountain climber” to take advantage of and relish this opportunity. This trek is an ideal choice for anyone who is in relatively good physical shape and who desires a short, comfortable trek through one of the most famous and gorgeous sections of the Himalayan Mountains in Nepal. Single travellers, couples, families with children and even multi-generational families with grandparents can enjoy this trek. There is no risk of suffering altitude sickness since despite being surrounded by dozens of 6000+ metre mountains, the highest mountain pass that we climb is only 3200 meters. The only reasonable risk for the moderately in-shape trekker would be “a stiff neck” caused by the constant 360 degrees “Oh My God” panoramic views!

Your TREK AND TOURS adventure begins in Nepal’s capital, Kathmandu, with a guided tour of the city including the designated UNESCO World Heritage Sites Boudhanath, Patan Patan, Patan Durbar Square and Swayambunath (The Monkey temple). The following day, you will travel by private coach to the city of Pokhara, known as, “The Paradise City”, where you will commence this and legendary.

Why is the Annapurna Panorama Trek so popular and famous? Simply, it is a historic trekking trail that offers hikers a wonderful opportunity to witness the spectacular environmental, cultural and religious beauty of the Annapurna region. The spectacular mountain scenery is a constant presence. The clearly marked trail connects a variety of charming villages that are the home of the Gurung people. At one point, we walk through a dense rhododendron forest that is the largest such forest in the world and which is the home of dozens of varieties of birds. We also will pass through deep subtropical valleys and climb mountain passes. The towering, awe-inspiring mountains of the Annapurna Range are always within sight and their magical presence is always felt.

One of the highlights of this trip is an early morning climb up Poon Hill. Not only does it offer a great place to view the wonderful mountains, it offers an extraordinary perspective of the touching the snow-capped summits of the Himalayan giants, Dhaulagiri (8,167m) and Annapurna I (8,091m). As you gaze in the still and cool morning air, you will marvel at the magic of numerous peaks turn into a golden glow as the dawn light gradually touches and illuminates them. Photographic opportunities are unlimited and will preserve a memory that your eyes can hardly believe.

For those with more time and who want to experience even more of the magic that is Nepal, this trip can be combined with additional side trips including white water rafting, wildlife safari tours, visits to traditional craft markets and to a variety of sacred Buddhist and Hindu religious shrines and holy sites.

Trip Highlights: Trip Highlights: Spectacular views of famous Himalayan peaks, including Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri, Annapurna South, and Mahhapurche (Fishtail), walking through the world’s biggest rhododendron forest, watching the sunrise from Poon Hill, exploring the unique culture of the Buddhist and Hindu religions.
