3 Day Chitwan National Park
The Chitwan National Park is a world heritage property, it has a history of over 3 decades in park management and a rich experience in resolving conflicts between the park and the people. It is a rich natural area in the Terai, the subtropical southern part of Nepal. A total of 68 species of mammals, 544 species of birds, 56 species of herpetofauna and 126 species of fish have been recorded in the park. The park is especially renowned for its protection of One Horned Rhinoceros, Royal Bengal Tiger and Gharial Crocodile.
Trip Itinerary
Day 1Kathmandu/ Bharatpur by land – transfer to Resort.
Later Afternoon, visit an ethnic Tharus Village on Ox Cart -
Elephant Safari (ride)
Transfer to Resort. Overnight Resort
Day 2Elephant Safari (ride) or visit an ethnic Tharus Village on Ox Cart or a ride on a traditional dug-out canoe will take you from the hotel to Kasara. A visit will be made to the Gharial (Crocodile) Breeding and Jungle walk - Elephant Bathing, full-day activities.
Overnight Resort.
Day 3Breakfast at the hotel.
After breakfast transfer to hotel in Kathmandu. Overnight Hotel
