Day 1ARRIVE TIBET

Fly from Kathmandu, Chengdu or Beijing to Lhasa Airport. Upon transfer to Tsedang. Hotel in Tsedang.

Day 2TSEDANG SIGHTSEEING

Visit Samye, the oldest Monastery in Tibet and Yambulakhang, the first castle built by the Tibetan Kings. Hotel in Tsedang.

Day 3-5LHASA SIGHTSEEING

In Lhasa visit Potala Palace, Norbulinka, Drepung & Sera monasteries, Jokhang Temple, and Barkhor Bazaar. Hotel.

Day 6 LHASA - GYANTSE

Drive to Gyantse passing the Yamdrok Tsho (Turquoise Lake) and crossing the Karo La pass. Visit The Khumbhum Stupa & Phalkor Monastery. Hotel.

Day 7GYANTSE - SHALU - SHIGATSE

Drive Gyantse to Shigatse. Enroute visti Shalu Monastery. Hotel.

Day 8SHIGATSE - XEGAR

After visiting the Tashilungpo Monastery drive across Tsoula and Gyatsola pass to Xhegar. Enroute visit Sakya Monastery. Hotel.

Day 9 XEGAR - RONGPHU MONASTERY

Drive over Pangla pass to Rongphu Monastery situated below the giant North Face of Mt. Everest. Rongphu Monastery Guest House.

Day 10Mt. EVEREST BASE CAMP 

Day hike to North Mount Everest Base Camp and Rongphu Glacier (8 kms each way). Rongphu Monastery Guest House.

Day 11RONGPHU - NYALAM or ZAMGMU

Drive over the Himalayas and down to Tibet-Nepal border town of Nyalam or Zangmu. Enroute visit Milerapa Cave. Hotel.

Day 12ZANGMU - KATHMANDU
