14 Day Tamang Heritage Trail

Tamang Heritage trail, a very newly opened trekking route going to the Langtang region, offers a wonderful opportunity to get closer with the culture, religion and daily lifestyle of the Tamang community of Langtang region. The trek is goes towards the northern side of the Kathmandu Valley, passing through interesting Tamang settlements and villages. Tamangs actually are the descendants from the Tibet and their culture is virtually untouched. Tamang Heritage trial is for those who wish to observe the traditional and untouched cultural heritage, custom and lifestyle of the indigenous Tamang people. Besides, Langtang itself being a land of magic, meditation and shamanism with ancient Tibetan monasteries, rhododendron and bamboo forests, majestic waterfalls, snow-capped Himalayas, and many sacred lakes, the trek will be the most unforgettable one.
